  1. Love this! Would love to see a 2017 update. I don't think you can take food internationally anymore, and laptop bans are in the works. Of course you can always buy food after the security checkpoint and carry a tablet or smartphone.

  2. Nice video David , stands the test of time IMHO ๐Ÿ™‚ As an alternative to the Old Navy anorak , LL Bean makes a good one , the mountain classic anorak 49.95 been wearing one for yrs ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Hello David, I liked the video. I have plans of traveling soon and got some ideas from this video. the only thing that I would do differently is add either a metal bottle with the purpose of boiling my water or a water filtering device. just because I might not want to drink tap water in a different country.

  4. Thanks David for the review on "airport carry". I travel 200+ days per year and I have been looking to insert a "bag" in my luggage for "get home". I was surprised that the bag I have in mind does not vary from yours except the Buck Hoodlum and I prefer Maxpedition. I do have the LMF2 though along with the other knives mentioned. Traveling across America and Canada I often think,… could I get home from here? My wife (or better half) thinks I'm nuts but I have lived through 911, the gas scare of the 70's, and several economic flashes, along with history, things will only going to get worst with travel. I do not want to be caught away from home in another 911! I do commend you on your retention and dependence of the Bible also. Again, thanks my friend and would love to meet one day.

  5. This is a great video. I carry a much smaller bag. I had no idea I could carry something larger and with much more stuff. You gave me some great ideas. Going through LAX is an adventure in itself. I'd rather be in the woods. It seems like I would be safer. lol
Thanks again for the great video and information.

  6. David, please reach out to me at some point in time. Unfortunately, this doesn't work forย "prepped" business traveler. No legitimate business traveler "checks" a bag and it would be great to see an non-checked solution. Maybe something with a maxpedition fatty or something of that nature. I have been traveling for 16+ years now and fly approximately 75,000-100k miles domestically, so something that would be TSA friendly without a checked bag would be great. Additionally, if there is an emergency, don't count on seeing your checked bag again either. I love your videos and this isn't meant to be a negative criticism. Thanks!

  7. A checked bag is one that you "check" into baggage and it rides in the cargo hold,as opposed to a "carry on" that you take on board and put in the overhead bin. You've never flown before…..?
